I’m Thomas, the owner of Midland Handyman. I started this business in May 2025 because I saw a real need for honest, dependable help around the house. Helping people has always been important to me.

So has doing work I can be proud of. My love for the trades started early. I grew up learning carpentry from my grandfather. He taught me to care about the little things. Take your time. Do it right. That stuck with me.

Over the years, I worked in all kinds of construction and maintenance roles. I spent time as a facilities manager and picked up a lot along the way. After 30-plus years in the field, I decided it was time to build something of my own. That’s how Midland Handyman came to life. Woodworking is still my favorite part of the job.

There’s just something special about shaping wood into something useful and beautiful. It never gets old. I still spend a lot of time in the shop, even when I’m off the clock. When I’m not working, I’m usually with my wife. We love little road trips and exploring new spots together.

At home, you’ll probably find me outside in the yard, tossing the ball for our dogs, or building something just for fun. This business is about more than fixing things. It’s about showing up, doing good work, and treating people with respect. That’s what I aim to bring to every home I walk into.
